Your on-premises data, kept current in Azure

Enable Sync runs on your own Windows server and pushes the folders and database tables you choose to your Azure subscription, each on its own schedule, sending only what changed. It reads your data and never changes it.

Works with

SQL Server · Azure SQL · PostgreSQL · MySQL · Oracle · IBM DB2 · ODBC · Azure Blob Storage

Data on your servers, apps in Azure

Your business data lives on your own servers: in SQL Server, file shares and line-of-business systems. Your newer apps, dashboards and reports live in Azure. Keeping the two in step shouldn't need an ETL platform, an integration team or a CSV export every morning.

Enable Sync is one small program on your server that keeps a current copy in Azure, with nothing to look after between runs.

What It Does

Folders and databases, one way, on your schedules

Folders to Blob Storage

Send any number of folders, on the server or its network shares, each to its own Azure Blob Storage container. Only new and changed files go up.

Databases to Azure SQL

Copy the tables you choose from SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2 or any ODBC source. Only new and changed rows are written, and the tables are created for you.

Your Own Schedules

Every folder and every database runs on its own schedule, from every hour to once a day at the hour you pick.

Read-Only and Outbound

It never writes to your source or deletes anything at the destination, and nothing connects in to your server.

Your Secrets Stay Yours

Connection strings and keys are encrypted for the machine, or kept in your own Azure Key Vault. Your data goes straight to your Azure and never passes through Enable.

Set Up From the Clock

A small window by the clock adds, tests and pauses targets, and shows when each last ran. The installer is signed by Enable App Inc.

How It Works

Install it once, and it keeps up on its own

1. Install

Run the signed installer on a Windows server that can reach your data. It adds an hourly scheduled task and the Enable Sync window.

2. Add Targets

Pick a folder and its container, or a database, its tables and where they go. Test checks the connection before anything is saved.

3. It Keeps Up

Each target that's due sends only what changed since its last run: files by their fingerprint, rows by their key and fingerprint.

4. Check In

The window shows each target's last and next run, every run writes a log, and a failed run shows as failed in Task Scheduler.
